The grassy green center of the NYC Freestyle Universe opened for business early
this year so April 14th brought us the first All*Star Thursday 2005. In
attendence were Brad, Roger, Bill Doobs, Fearless Lou, Pat Rabdau, Jesse, Kevin,
and myself. Teddy O., Joey H. & Rob Fried joined the fray as well, fresh off of
their flow-filled victory in Virginia (Thanks for representin’ da’ homies
fellas).

It was chilly but two 4-man Jams were notable smokin’: Bill Doobs, Brad, Joey
H., and Roger lit it up early then Ted, Pat, Joey, and a very Jolly Roger
proceeded to shred. Mr. Meier was in the heinest of moods and in fact went
dropless for about 15 minutes…only to be jinxed when Rob pointed this out to
the crew. It appears that Doug E. Fresh is gonna get the first Yella Jersey,
though with twin Daddy Duty responsibilties, he could get a special dispensation
from the board.

So to all of our world wide plastic people: we’re always lookin’ the fresh blood
of special guest jammers. So Don’t Be Yella!! Come on down to our Green Beach.
